This page explains what this website collects and what we do with it.
It covers the Woge website and the early-access list. The Woge app in Shopify will have its own privacy policy, published before launch.
Who we are
Woge is an independent app for Shopify. For anything about your data, email david.melashych@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Your email address and the date you joined, when you use the "Join free" form. The form asks for nothing else.
- Technical data our host receives. Like any website, our host Vercel receives your IP address and browser details when you open a page, so it can deliver the page and keep the site secure. We don't use this data to identify you.
- Anonymous page statistics. Vercel Web Analytics records each page view: the time, the page address, the site that sent you, your browser, operating system and device type, and your approximate location. It tells visitors apart with a temporary hash made from your request, which it discards after 24 hours. We see totals only, and use them to learn how many people visit and where they come from. This is our legitimate interest in understanding how the website is used.
- Anonymous speed measurements. Vercel Speed Insights records how fast each page loads for you, with the page address, your network speed, browser, operating system, device type and country. It isn't tied to you or your IP address. We use it to keep the website fast, on the same legitimate interest.
This website uses no cookies and no advertising trackers. Its fonts and images load from this website, not from other companies. The only scripts are the two Vercel ones above.
Why we use your email
- To send you one email when your invite to Woge is ready.
- To keep a record that your shop joined before launch, so it gets the founding offer described in our terms.
We don't send newsletters or marketing emails, and we don't sell your email or share it with anyone other than the services below.
We rely on your consent, which you give when you submit the form. You can withdraw it at any time by emailing us, and we will delete your email. If you do that before you install Woge, we can no longer apply the founding offer to your shop.
Services that handle your data
- Vercel hosts this website, runs the sign-up form and provides the page statistics and speed measurements. Vercel's privacy policy
- Google stores the early-access list in Google Sheets. Google's privacy policy
These companies may process data in the United States and in other countries.
How long we keep it
We keep your email while early access runs. After launch, we keep it only for shops that install Woge, as the record of their founding offer, and delete the rest within 12 months of launch.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to show you the data we hold about you, correct it or delete it. Email david.melashych@gmail.com. If you live in the EU, the UK or another place with data protection law, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
